Deerfield Correctional Center commemorates Veterans Day with its annual banquet, which includes guest speakers, entertainment, and special presentations.
Why
The Virginia Department of Corrections (VADOC) proudly honors incarcerated veterans for their service to our country. Through special housing in Veterans Pods and programs designed for this unique population, the department works to address the needs of veterans and provide an environment to help them succeed. The VADOC also takes great pride in being the largest employer of veterans among state agencies.
