DOC Appoints New Warden at Deerfield Correctional Center
RICHMOND – Virginia Department of Corrections (DOC) Director Gene M. Johnson announced today the appointment of Keith W. Davis as Warden of Deerfield Correctional Center in Southampton County.
Davis began his career with the DOC in 1982 and most recently held the position of Warden Senior at Greensville Correctional Center. He has also held positions as Rehabilitation Counselor, Counselor Supervisor, Therapeutic Program Supervisor, and Assistant Warden. Davis replaces David B. Everett who has been appointed Warden at Sussex II State Prison in Sussex County.
Deerfield Correctional Center, opened in 1994, is a low-medium security facility with special programs for geriatric and assisted living inmates.
