RICHMOND – Virginia Department of Corrections (DOC) Director Gene M. Johnson announced today that the DOC Offender Management Services Unit has established a Spanish language telephone help line. The help line will provide public information regarding inmate status including location, dates of release, transfers, parole issues, etc, to Spanish speaking victims of crime and relatives of offenders who are incarcerated within the DOC. The public may reach the helpline at (804) 674-3131.
Over the years the DOC has also provided material for victims of crime printed in Spanish and continues to strive to make public information accessible to all.
