RICHMOND – Virginia Department of Corrections (DOC) Director Gene Johnson announced today the appointment of Douglas M. Vaughan as Warden of Nottoway Correctional Center in Nottoway County.
Vaughan began his career with the DOC in 1980 as a Corrections Officer at Deep Meadow Correctional Center. In 2004 he was appointed Assistant Warden at Nottoway Correctional Center.
Vaughan replaces Warden David Robinson who recently assumed the position of Warden at Wallens Ridge State Prison in Wise County.
