CORRECTIONS OFFICERS represent a significant portion of the Department of Corrections' workforce and we continuously recruit for these positions. MEDICAL STAFF include Physicians, Physicians specializing in Mental Health issues, Dentists, Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Nurse Clinicians, Dental Hygienists and Assistants, Radiologic Technologists and Laboratory Technicians. These positions are needed for all of the Department's institutions. We are always interested in applicants who have experience working with incarcerated persons and those who wish to learn more about the field. We seek those whose backgrounds include knowledge and skills in at least one of the following areas, general medicine, women's medical issues, geriatric medicine and mental health diagnosis and treatment.

PSYCHOLOGISTS are also frequently needed in our institutions. We are looking or those who have clinical backgrounds, testing and diagnostic skills and who are knowledgeable regarding aberrant behavior.
