Deputy Director - Operations

John M. Jabe

John M. Jabe is Deputy Director of Operations, a position he assumed in November 2002. Previously he briefly held the positions of both Deputy Director of Administration and Operations since October 2002. Before becoming Deputy Director, Jabe was Assistant Director for Division of Operations.

Jabe began his career in corrections in Michigan as a former Warden and Deputy Director for Michigan DOC. He came to the Virginia DOC in 1994 as Warden at Greensville Correctional Center in Jarratt. He received his B.S. in Engineering from the University of Michigan in 1962.
